Species in this genus
Plenodomus avramii
(obsolete)
Notes:
Plenodomus avramii
was described in 1978 by Dante Borelli. The fungus came from a black grain mycetoma. The fungus produces pycnidia. The pycnidia of this fungus has setae, which are characteristically seen in
Pyrenochaeta
. Unfortunately, the type material is not available and its proper classification is unknown. We wonder if it is not actually
Pyrenochaeta romeroi
, and we so list it in our tables.

Pyrenochaeta
romeroi
